I decided to buy this price guide since I was going to sell my entire Star Wars collection and I wanted to know what kind of info this price guide contained. I have been collecting Star Wars for more than 15 years so I'm kind of wise myself, but you can always learn more :-) The guide is a nice book and it sure lists a huge amount of Star Wars items, both figures and other memorablia so it really is extensive. It was mostly in black and white with only a very few color pages. However, lots of pictures in black and white. There was also a lot of pricing information and the author addressed the different problems that you might encounter when buying and selling and how you should act. Grading and storing is also addressed. However, the guide does not say much about the many variations and small differences that advanced collectors look for, which is why it didn't help me that much at all. Also, prices doesn't really seem to be up to date which is obvious when comparing to what items on eBay and other selling sites goes for. Prices tend to be too low (very much too low in a few cases), however, they give a correct indication of which figures are valuable and which are not. I believe this is a beginner's Star Wars price guide. Might also be valuable to an intermediate collector but for hardcore Star Wars collectors, there's not, in my opinion, much to learn.Read full review
I WOULD LIKE 2 KNOW WHAT ITS WORTH. I HAVE SOME THAT ARE NOT AUTOGRAPHED. IT WAS THE RACE IN PHOENIX ARIZONA. STAR WARS WAS ON THE 38 AND 88 CARS. THE POSTER ARE IN GREAT SHEAP.
It pretty much states that there is a bunch of Star Wars crap out there to be bought. Rebel Scum is more informative for figures and rare/weird stuff- And its free...
