Sounds great! Audio technica should use these instead of their own styluses on their AT-LP 60 turntable, especially considering Audio Technica does not have an OEM upgrade stylus for the ATN3600. (It's certainly nice that this upgrade stylus is less money than than I would pay for a vastly inferior replacement stylus from Audio Technica.)

Update: After using this stylus more extensively, I have found several issues worth mentioning. It seems to have tracking problems with some records. I tried adjusting anti-skate and tracking weight. It didn't solve the issue. It actually performs similar to a 78 rpm stylus. Skipping in certain spots. Could it have been mis-packaged? I noticed the cantilever is noticeably longer than stock stylus. Possibly causing instability? Anyway at this time, I could not recommend this stylus. Following is my original review posted before I noticed the problems: Recently purchased this elliptical upgrade for my AT3600L. It seems to work quite well with improved detail and high end treble. Tracks well at about 2 grams. I've heard these might have problems with a heavy tracking turntable like the basic Audio Technica lp60 sold at Wal-Mart and online. They work better with a lighter tracking adjustable turntable. Would recommend for a good upgrade.Read full review

very reasonably priced, was hoping it would be kind of a budget upgrade to the good conical stylus that comes on the AT3600 cartridge... but doesn't seem as well balanced sonically as the conical, not bad though but noticeably lighter in the low end. could be a good fit for someone, just wasn't for me. it's a bargain backup stylus, though... not really sure if there's any other elliptical that works with the 3600, certainly none in that price range.

This elliptical stylus was an upgrade for a cn5625al cartridge. Installed easily and sounded fine. However, little improvement in fidelity was heard over the conical stylus. Still a good replacement stylus.

This is likely the most effective AND cheapest upgrade to your record listening experience that can be made. Superior clarity, definition, and harmonics. Not sure about durability and I don't like the color. Definitely worth the cost though...and then some.
