I typically don't expect much of small, softbound car books like this one. And, I own another such book by John Lamm that I was NOT impressed with at all. But this Boxster guide is very near perfect. It covers all the critical details: photos of the Boxster concept car, numerous early Boxster mock-ups, styling drawings, interviews with all the design staff, production line photos, and stand-alone engine and driveline photos. This little book is exhaustive and complete. It is a neccesity for Boxster fans.
interesting recounting of the development of the Boxster.

Excellent review of the evolution of the Boxster, and how the Boxster aided in the survival of the Porsche motor company following the demise of the 928,924,912 and 944: and the slipping sales of the 911. The initial Boxster success caused Porsche to open a production line in Sweeden to satisify the demand. A great bit of work in this book, a must read book.
