This is a great all-time classic arcade and SNES title, that never grows old. The game itself is a lot like Dig Dug, but it has a crazy clown that has a super ball that he throws around the maze and is chased by mad creatures. The clown appears insane, and the music contributes to that effect. Too bad a compilation of these types of games from the ColecoVision console era were never released. Some great games were "Slither," "Venture," "Zaxxon," and of course "Mr. Do." I hope that a game publisher for those games reads this.
One of my All Time Favorites for SNES! As I said it was Amazing in arcades and on ColecoVision and now on SNES. I actually came across this title by accident because I didn't remember it existing back in the day. When I found out they made it for SNES, I paid over $23 for it, but it was worth every penny and I can't stop playing it! This is what it would be like if Dig Dug were extremely fun instead of only moderately fun. Absolutely recommended!
This game is arcade perfect. While passable in the eight-bit era, (Colecovision and Atari) Mr. Do is so much better on the Super-Nintendo. Rewarding and Challenging. While similar to Dig-Dug, with digging your own maze, and killing the bad guys with rocks, the gameplay mechanics are different enough. It isn't a clone or rip-off. While not as good as Dig-Dug, it is just as addicting. It also has not been ported to any console since the SNES. A fun, challenging, SNES exclusive.
