I recently bought the Days of Thunder (NES) video game. I bought this game because i love the movie days of thunder and the game looked interesting to me. I found the game to be queit different then any other "Nascar" game i had played. I was surprised at how hard the game accually was, and the enterainment value of the this game. For a game made in 1990 it was fun and i had a blast playing such a old game. This game is one i think any nascar fan would enjoy, if old school video games is what you like. I like the game and had fun playing it! Once i figure out how to stop in pit road and get fuel and tires maybe ill accually get to finish a race lol. I was amazed at how it had real tracks names in the game, and at each track the handling of the car was different. It was fun, and a challenge at the same time. The other racers in the game, race you very hard for position and its fun to make your way through the pack. I must say on a rainy weekend when theres no racing to watch or go to at a local short track this is a fun game to kill some time with. Thanks for reading -nlr77Read full review
The pit stops are the most challenging aspect. Press one wrong button and you instigate a chinese fire drill. The racing is fine. Michigan has 4 turns though. Get a game genie if you cant outdrive the 2 main cars of rowdy burns and russ wheeler. Takes a little practice. Especially the pit stops which i believe is the best representation of a pit stop in any racing game from any platform

The stock car action in the film DAYS OF THUNDER has been shrunk down and put on the NES. You take the role of rookie driver Cole Trickle, and you'll have to take on a grueling eight-race season on seven different tracks. Before each race, you must participate in a four-lap qualifying round to earn your starting position. Once the race beings, you must try to reach and stay in the lead. However, your vehicle and tires will take damage, so you'll have to decide when to make pit stops and what repairs to make while in the pits. If you have good driving skills and make strategic decisions about pit stops, then you might have a chance at winning it all in DAYS OF THUNDER OVERALL 8/10--MUST HAVE GAME! YOU CAN PICK UP THIS GAME FOR UNDER $5--REALLY BARGAIN!
Life Force is a NES Konami flying/shooting game at its best. (I believe it is a member of the "Gradius" game family.) Learning the Contra Konami "30 guy" code will make winning this game possible. Like Contra, this flyer/shooter provides a series of powerups which implement different kinds of guns (lasers, spread gun, etc). Game play is thus always diverse. Graphics are exquisite for the time period of the game. On a first play, you will anxiously anticipate how cool the next boss will look! Play control is perfect. This game's design is very polished. Play Life Force!
There is something loose inside cartridge but it plays well. Color shifts in an out on game play. But it works pretty good so far. Played for about an hour.
