  • SARAH'S PATCHWORK

This is the first book of three in the Keepsake Trilogies.by Stephanie Grace Whitson, a favorite author. Sarah and her crippled younger brother are orphaned in New York and put on an Orphan Train going west. An interesting slice of history both sad and happy. Sarah and Tom end up on the prairie. Quilts and nursing are part of this compelling story. A surprise ending too. Loved it, and the novels that followed!

  • Sarah Biddle

Sarah's story actually begins in another book, Red Bird, but you won't miss anything in catching up in Sarah's Patchwork, because it updates you with what happened previously. It is written with such compelling characters and the story is so memorable. I'll read it again and again in the future. I'll highly recommend it!!!
