Ugh, I am so happy with this mixer. I've been using it for making pizza dough and I want to say that I have made the best pizza I've had in my life. The dough hook piece had made such a big difference in my life - I no longer have to spend up to an hour and a half making dough (including the kneading) to make good dough! Great grinder for smaller quantities! Easy to clean too!
This is a great grinder for small jobs. We use it to grind cooked vegetables and meats for dogfood. The key is low speed and not forcing the materials into the grinder. I suspect when grinding raw meat, small cuts would be necessary as to not jam or bog it down. This by no means would replace meat grinder for larger 5lbs.+jobs...if you were in a hurry.
