When I'd purchased this CD, I already had Neal's "?" album after being recommended to him by friends. In my opinion, "One" is every bit as excellent and is the basic definition of good progressive rock. The album flows very nicely and has some of everything for everyone; big orchestrated overtures, Dream Theater-esque heavy prog rock, quiet acoustic ballads, and anything else imaginable in between. Neal's vocals have a very sincere quality and fit very well. All the instrumentation is top-notch and simply incredible. Lyrically, the album is a masterpiece that journeys from the creation of the world and the departure of man from God to eventual forgiveness and joyous reunion; I am a Christian personally and this album speaks a great deal to me, but even if you're not a believer, give this album a chance.... you owe it to yourself.Read full review
