Sound is amazing. Had a little issue getting them setup. They are only compatible with S2. I think had these been newer, and updated they would have been easier. Best to let them charge completely before you mess with them.

Speaker is highly portable. Sounds good, but no better than other portable Bluetooth speakers I already own. We’ll, maybe slightly better for its size. The Wi-Fi connection is usually solid in and near my home so I use it often when stepping away from my main audio system. Haven’t quite figured out how to keep it powered down when plugged in so it will not respond to Alexa commands intended for other devices. If unplugged the problem is solved, though I tend to charge the Roam whenever I use it.

Compared to other Bluetooth speakers I’ve had, this Sonos Roam has a good sound but has its flaws. It doesn’t come with a power plug, only a cord. So right off the bat you need to buy a Sonos specific charger because Apple charger won’t work. Then you have to also download the Sonos ap for your phone and spend time setting that up. The final complaint I have is the battery life is way shorter than other speakers I have used. But it does sound good.

I have NOT received the one I purchased through eBay. I do have one I bought from another source and it is wonderful as are the dozen or so Sonos products I have. According to USPS this Roam is in Coppell TX and has been there for a week.

Reasonable sound but average quality of sound. Was hoping for a little better bass response. Did not realize you had to buy a magnetic charger if you don't want to leave it plugged into a usb source constantly, or turn it off- which takes it offline.
