Get it While You Can...
Cabochard is a wonderful , not-sickly sweet fragrance of CLASS from the 60s or 70s ! It is one of the few great older fragrances that has not yet been discontinued. The edt is much lighter than the Eau de Parfum, meaning you might need to re-apply the edt after a few hours. I love this one, and so did my aunt.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Refreshing and clean green floral
Whoo-hoo, something that works with my chemistry and is a cheapie! And has floral notes that never go too sweet or powdery on me. Honestly, while there are some scents I much prefer, I like most all the categories, it’s just a matter of what works on my skin. And you know how you sometimes recognize a perfumer’s DNA? It took me a bit, but eventually was like, “oh yeah…… I had Orange Blossom (Jo Malone) years ago, and I can tell they are distant cousins.” Plus, the slightly soapy bit is fabulously refreshing/resetting when my nose has had too many days of dearly-loved spicy scents or just needs a boost from street scents cooked in from the summer sun. And might be top choice if needed to go onto subway platform, whoof. Admittedly, green floral is one of my fav categories, I grew up on Lauren. Would I wear this everyday, to everything? No. Just because I like to mix it up. But I could. Do I wish it lasted just a little longer? Yes. I am salt-deficient, no matter how much I eat, so I can sorta say this is kinda like getting a saline infusion. It’s refreshing. It’s almost like Amy Adams in one of those princess movies but wearing a day dress - kinda perky and hopeful, no grimey or mussiness in sight. Does Gres have any other perfumes or just EDT?
