OEM thermostat
OEM Honda part. This thermostat is in a very tight spot to access. I was not about to install a cheap aftermarket part, after killing myself to install this new one. For what ? So it can fail in a few months ? Price was right, shipping was fast, job got done, truck has heat now. Glad it's over with. The original part lasted 110,000 miles...,,so hopefully I won't have to go back to that area for quite some time. Aftermarket parts are great for " easy access areas". I've had aftermarket thermostats get stuck in the " closed" position. That is called engine death. Extreme overheating in a short amount of time. The cylinder heads warp or crack, you blow head gaskets. Just not worth it. Go back with OEM to be safe.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
