    L O V E !

First, the book came 2 days faster than I expected. And second, I didn't want to put it down the second I started reading! Finished it in a day! It was great. Definitely the type of book you don't hear about too often. As you read you should really analyze what the author is saying. It's not hard to understand, but there's more to it than just words. If you're debating it, JUST DO IT! Promise you won't regret it (:

    Horrific Poetry Book

This book was horrible! I thought I was getting a nice poetry book, guess maybe I didn't realize what the author was writing about. But the entire book is negative and demeaning to women. I'm sure some will have issues with my review, but the author wrote the book in order to "heal." I saw no healing or purpose, just a piece of garbage. I did not even donate it, I never, never throw books away. I threw this one away.

  • Unexpected and fascinating read!

No matter what your preferred genre, you should read this book! I was skeptical given the controversy surrounding Instapoets, but I had to know for myself what the #1 Instapoet was all about. I do not use social media so I went straight for the book. Right away the story pushes you forward, visually, emotionally and via context. Her word choice and structure are in step. Her frankness surrounding the story line is well received, particularly I imagine by those who can relate. I’ve read it several times and each time it gets better. I recommend a quiet, focused thirty minutes for the first read. I’m not a scholar, simply a fellow poet and I understand now the controversy of the concept of an Instapoet. After many reads of this #1 piece, I’m still unsure if I personally would call it poetry, but being a poet myself I know that poetry is vast thing. The writing isn’t necessarily lyrical or structured in the way one has come to expect from poetry but it is deep and emotional and gripping and thorough, so in essence, it is poetic. Poetry? Perhaps the genre here is not what is important. If labeling this poetry gathers an interest from young readers and those otherwise ‘afraid’ of reading or writing poetry, then let’s call it that! Perhaps the way the world sees poetry is changing and in my mind whatever that comes to be is a positive thing because once the door is opened there becomes opportunity for entry and further exploration. Kudos to Miss Kaur.

  • Milk & Honey review

Really great book, I feel like it targets women more but men can definitely read it as well. And it really talks about and helps cope a lot of major issues I'n sure most people have gone through themselves

  • Its okay

I received my book on time which was great. However, there was a liquid that obviously got on the book and some pages are shrivled. Another thing is that on various images, there is what appears to be crayon or map pencil outlines. I personally feel like the book should have been listed as acceptable rather than good. If you want to order this book, you should probably get it very good, like new or new.

  • Quality of my purchase

I really have wanted this book for a while, but everytime I would see it in the stores it would be priced at $15+ which seems very unreasonable to me. I was so glad I found this copy for less and it was in perfect condition. Highly recommend.

  • Buy this and give it to every woman you know.

I loved this book. I think every woman young and old should read it once and then once more. It's beautifully written. I had two other ladies read it and their raving about it as well.
