Excellent film for the first time on Blu-ray.
Superb autobiographical film directed by Eva Ionesco. Isabelle Huppert is amazing as always but the young Romanian actress Anamaria Vartolomei steals the show. The film was released on Blu-ray in Japan only, in the rest of the world it is only available on DVD. The Blu-ray disc offers excellent image and sound. It is a huge upgrade compared with the DVD. Sound is in original French with optional Japanese subtitles. There are also a few interesting extras on the disc and a beautiful photo booklet with film stills. I can highly recommend this Japanese Blu-ray which offers the only high-definition presentation of the film worldwide.
