After having buffering issues with movies on Roku and Dish On Demand, I decided to purchase one of these to see if it would help. I can honestly say that after installation, the buffering problem has been 95% eliminated. Increases the range of my router that is about 125 ft from my computer and wifi instruments. Easy to set up using the Tether app that is down loaded free from the Apple store. Programmed to address your regular and 5G network and in addition your extended and 5 G extended networks for easy distribution amongst the house participants and any guests you have in the house. Uses one plug in out in the house that indicates if it is in range with the router through a green light. If it is out of range it will indicate red and must be located closer to the router.
