I have had the Milwaukee packout system for about 6 months now and they are fantastic. The quality, strength and size of these boxes are the best out there. The stacking and releasing is quick and easy. I compared many types and the Milwaukee packout is overall the best system made right now. I highly recommend this tool box system!!

This box was purchased as my go bag tool box. The rubber seals appear to keep dust and moisture out. The box is quite sturdy though i am not a big fan of the plastic hinge on the lid. Yes it is a full length piano hinge but the fingers are plastic. Time will tell. The latches are very heavy duty. Rubber seal not as tight as it could be but the design seems like it will exclude light rain. I have 60 lbs of wrenches and sockets in it. The handle is plenty strong. The internal trays appear adequate. Would have liked them to be tougher and thicker. I like how they stay in place when the lid is closed. So far, i am happy and contemplating getting another bigger one for my carpentry and plumbing tools. May end up with the pack roller box too. I always liked that idea but have not seen it done well up till now. If the other Milwaukee boxes are like this one, they should make a fine set and i'd expect them to last at least 5 years on the jobsite.Read full review

I've had the Dewalt and the Rigid storage systems and had complaints about both. The Dewalt had a flimsy attachment hardware but good tool trays. The Rigid had good attachment hardware and clamps but was below par for the tool trays-they were half the size of the Dewalt. The Packout combined the best attributes of both those systems. I would highly recommend but buy it on sale as it's pricey.
