Durable so far. Easy to adjust for height, secure once adjusted, easy to store between trips, definitely a good buy at a fair price. We favored the carbon fiber poles because of the lower weight and using them has been a pleasure so far.

The carbon Cascade Mountain hiking poles have the best style of locking mechanisms, and they're light. Pretty much the same quality as poles I paid twice as much for, so I'd have to give them high marks for value. You'll want to be careful not to apply more clamping force than needed to avoid breaking the plastic locking cams, which is true of all the poles I've seen that use this locking system. Time will tell how well they hold up, but so far I'm very impressed, particularly for the price.

Quite light and easy to use. I like them and they are easily adjustable. Would recommend.

If you're on the fence about buying a set of poles, definitely start with these. Great features for a great budget price.

Only problem I have is that I have to retighten the what locks quite often. The lock adjustment nuts loosen often will hiking even if I get them adjusted snuggly. Terry.
