I found communicating with a company to be very difficult. They're supposed English speakers aren't fluent with the language. If your question doesn't match their question they don't get it you go back and forth until you get tired of it. The manual is a joke. The temperature is the temperature of your hand holding it not the surrounding temperature. I could never get the automatic time function to work the r d s feature doesn't engage. At night the dial pad is difficult to negotiate and it's too complicated in the dark. The antenna is poorly mounted and is constantly loose since new. This is my second one they're the same. This could be a great radio if they put $5 more into it. I wish they hardened the case or put bumpers on it. So it would last I hate to see it get scuffed up broken it was $120 to meRead full review

I would have given the radio 5 stars if not for a couple of drawbacks. The first is that the battery indicator is inaccurate. It shows the battery is discharged at a faster rate than it actually is. If you let the radio run down until it stops working you'll see what I mean. The second issue is that longwave reception is poor compared to other comparable radios. In the US we use longwave for beacons and amateur radio experimentation on the 2200 and 630 meter bands. Note that longwave on this radio only goes down to 150 Khz. If you use the sideband function you might be able to hear some things on that band. I use it to listen to the 80, 75, 40, and 20 meter ham bands which are very active and the radio picks up hams all over the country just fine. This is where the sideband feature comes in handy and the shortwave reception is very good for a radio this size, even if you just use the telescoping antenna. Of course your results will be better if you use an external antenna. Air band is also lots of fun to listen to and since I live near an airport picking up aircraft from nearby is not a problem. Though it may not be as sensitive as a full-sized receiver, it's quite the radio for it's size and price. 73!Read full review

This radio is so packed with features. It blows me away AM -FM- SW- air band. It even Picks up SSB. You can scan a band then go through all the stations that it picks up. And the sensitivity is fantastic on all bands. It is so small. And still sounds great

The best portable "world band" radio that I have purchased. It does it all with clarity, accuracy and easy tuning on the dial giving me quality time with my hobby.
