I bought this phone primarily to view stereo (3-D) photos through a magnifying viewer. Ordinary phones, including iPhones, Galaxy phones, etc. have screens that look great until you magnify them, but when viewed through a View-Vaster magnifying system the images look grainy. The Sony Xperia Z5 phone has an awesome 2160 x 3840 pixel display (806 ppi) that even when magnified displays my photos in high definition. I don't really know about the battery life because I just got the phone, and the form factor is slightly larger than my old Galaxy 5 and slightly smaller than my new Pixel 6. The phone I bought was new old stock (NOS) with a Japanese version of Android but with English text. I'd upgrade the operating system if I was going to use it as a phone, but it's fine for looking at pictures.Read full review
