good little vacuum bot
had a Polaris 9300 which lasted 7 years with a few broken wheels and basket replacements then it crapped out. got this puppy and so far its awesome. love the tank tracks on it. gets all the dirt in the corners on the deep end and tons of leaves blown in from shrubs and trees around pool. its lightweight and drains fast when you pull it from the water. the basket is easy to empty from the top and the bottom opens to just tap against a tree in the woods and everything falls out. I spray the fine silt off the mesh sides of the filter basket with the hose and just drop it back in. best thing is that the cord does not tangle! power supply light and easy to use and has timers. It's just ok.
Bought this to replace Hayward Droid that kept having problems with debris in gears. Long term problem with Haywardndroids. This dolphin gets leaves fine. Climbs sides ok, but can't climb stairs and leaves fine dirt on bottom of pool. So we wind up using both daily. This would probably be fine in an area that doesn't have dusty wind and mostly leaves to clean up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I love mine!
It is made of what seems like a durable plastic, so I hope it holds up. This is probably what makes it light weight. It is easy for me to handle. It's simple to use and clean. I will say that I have sat and watched it through its whole cycle and it does not clean the sides completely around at the top, but I'm ok with that because I knew there would be places it couldn't reach and I would still need to brush, like around the ladder. I'm fine with this. It does a wonderful job on the rest of the pool. My main concern was brushing while sweeping and it does this beautifully. My pool sparkles when it's done. This review might not sound like it but...I LOVE IT!! Couldn't wait to get it. I had cleaned the pool a couple of days before it arrived but we ran it right away anyway to see how it worked. The pool looked clean but I was surprised to see the dirt that it had in the filter when it was done. Easy to clean. Basket slips right out, rinse it off, let dry and slip right back in. I really struggled & agonized over this purchase. We have a smallish pool but complex with various shelves, steps & bar stools. I also have a protected tree that might be the worst type of tree on the planet to have near a pool. Drops leaves and debris all day long, all year. I wasn't sure if a cleaner would be able to do a decent enough job to justify the cost. But with that tree, we had to do something. We've had this little guy, now tagged as Herbie, for about a month now. Wife and I are still stunned by the great job this Herbie does. Fantastic. What a time saver! He can't do the sun-shelf because it is only about 6" deep but he does a great job with the rest of the pool. Even the water line gets a good cleaning. Very clever robot designed to eliminate having to manually vacume while controling surface algae.
The Dolphin Nautilus is the easiest, high-tech, product to use that I have ever seen. I took it out of the box, plugged it in to a GFC outlet near, but away, from the pool, dropped the Dolphin in the pool and pressed the large blue button on the controller. One button starts the unit and it runs about an hour and a half to complete it's cycle. This incredible device runs along the bottom of the pool like a small tank, spinning it's wide flapper wheel, pulling debris into it's large onboard basket. It intelligently navigates the pool, figuring out where it has been and where it needs to go. This unit is incredible at climbing the walls and stairs in the pool as well. When it climbs to the top of the walls, it briefly/partially comes out of the water which drives our small dog crazy. There is no noise and the collection basket comes right out for empty/cleaning. Our pool is in a cage so we don't get a lot of large debris. We purchased this model because it works independently from the pool's filter system and it focuses on churning up algae that attempts to grow on the pool's underwater surfaces. Watching this product do it's thing is actually fun to see. Expensive at nearly $600.00 delivered but it matches our needs perfectly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good auto pool cleaner recommended by our pool service company
Like it so far (2 weeks) over other pool cleaners we have used. A litle too soon to tell. We did buy a square trade 4 year warranty and we do take it out of the pool and put it under cover when not in use. Does a 95% good job. We still have to brush top steps and side rails of pool and a couple of spots it seems it just doesn't like for some reason. It does however do a very good job cleaning our in ground fiberglass pool which we love.

Very good vacuum cleaner.
It is very good vacuum cleaner. My only issue is that the title of the machine being advertised as if it has an additional feature, “with cleverClean”. It is the same as the Dolphin Nautilus CC. Finely a good pool cleaner
After going through two Aguabot pool robots that just didn't clean my pool (they would stop moving as soon as they had a tiny amount of dirt or algae in the filter bag) I decided to purchase the new Dolphin Nautilus Robotic Pool Cleaner. The older model received good reviews but I didn't know about this new model. I have a 18X36 vinyl pool so I was skeptical about if it would damage the liner or climb the sides. Upon receiving the cleaner I placed it in my dirty green salt water pool. It went to work right away and scrubbed the bottom and sides of the pool. It was very good about not twisting up the power cord. The robot also seemed to cover most of the pool area not hanging around certain areas like the Aquabot. After about 1 hour I retrieved the unit because I wanted to see how much debris it picked up. I was surprised on how light the robot is compared to the my other robots. It pulled straight out of the water and the water drained fairly quickly from the unit with out losing a lot of debris. To clean the unit you have to remove a very convenient basket that in my case was half full of leaves, sticks, dirt, and algae. It is easy to rinse out and replace. In summary, I think this is a good robot although, at this time I cannot attest to the durability of the robot. The robot: 1. Covers most of the pool surface in one cycle. 2. Moves fast and the brushes clean the algae and dirt from the surface. 3. Does not hang up on pool drains 4. Climbs walls to water level well. 5. Is lightweight and very easy to clean filter basket. 6. Will not damage vinyl pools. 7. Will not tangle the power cord. 8. Cleans a dirty pool without stopping. (requires more than one cycle) The robot does not clean tight corners or stairs very well. It is a good value for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
