Very clever robot designed to eliminate having to manually vacume while controling surface algae.
The Dolphin Nautilus is the easiest, high-tech, product to use that I have ever seen. I took it out of the box, plugged it in to a GFC outlet near, but away, from the pool, dropped the Dolphin in the pool and pressed the large blue button on the controller. One button starts the unit and it runs about an hour and a half to complete it's cycle.
This incredible device runs along the bottom of the pool like a small tank, spinning it's wide flapper wheel, pulling debris into it's large onboard basket. It intelligently navigates the pool, figuring out where it has been and where it needs to go. This unit is incredible at climbing the walls and stairs in the pool as well. When it climbs to the top of the walls, it briefly/partially comes out of the water which drives our small dog crazy. There is no noise and the collection basket comes right out for empty/cleaning.
Our pool is in a cage so we don't get a lot of large debris. We purchased this model because it works independently from the pool's filter system and it focuses on churning up algae that attempts to grow on the pool's underwater surfaces. Watching this product do it's thing is actually fun to see. Expensive at nearly $600.00 delivered but it matches our needs perfectly.
