I’m really happy with this shortbread mold! I followed the recipe that came with the pan and the result is delicious however I’ll need to do some tweaking to perfect it. Even though I pulled my shortbread out 5 minutes earlier than the recipe directed, the molded part of my shortbread was darker than I would have liked. The recipe didn’t call for me to refrigerate the pan once I’d press the dough into it, but many shortbread bakers recommend it so I’ll try that next time.
PS The instructions say not to use cooking spray unless it has flour in it. I followed those instructions and used Pam Baking Spray with Flour and my shortbread was easy to removed from the pan and aside from being darker than I wanted, looked very pretty.
