Great little unit for the price Works amazing I did have to install a valve on the outlet side to slow the flow a little to get the right temperature (slowing the inlet side didn't work as good) so it cut my pressure down a little on the hot side but works pretty great for a full bath, laundry, and dishwasher just don't run them all at once on hot. You may be able to run two of them in series and be fine or get a smaller one and preheat the water before it hits unit , but I would most definitely buy again.

Nicely made unit. Clean lines, nice display, lightweight, easy to mount. You'll need a terminal box to wire it up since it comes with it's own pigtail cable (they don't want you to open up the case since it will void it's warranty, apparently; multi breaker units might be different), so I bought an inexpensive 60 amp A/C unit type cut-off switch box with a pull out switch. Just mount it near the heater on the wall and run your 6 gauge wire to it from your breaker panel. I just wish they had included adapters so that you can plumb it to 3/4" piping, so you'll have to buy your own if you wish to connect it to your existing 3/4" pipe. I had trouble using pipe dope (maybe it was too old or the wrong kind?), so I switched to Teflon tape (5 layers) on each fitting and that did the trick. Love the easy to turn dial, press to turn on/off feature and easy to read digital display which comes on when hot water is called for. Now, we'll see how long it lasts before some type of failure...Read full review

Ideal for a small flat with one water saver shower head and one or two faucets but you can only use one outlets at a time. Ive installed this under sink. I have a Rheem 18kw for the shower But in a pinch it would work in Sydney as imput water temputure rarely gets below 55F or 12 degress C Any colder part of Australia. You might be having warm showers with hot water tap at 50% and cold tap off Set your expections at no more than `1.75 Gallons/6.65L per miniute and you should be fine

Once you set the water temp. it is constant!! I also recommend a 2 year warranty.......I have no experience on how long they will last, but my feeling is, the should last for years without trouble! I set it up for the whole house, but its best not to use more than one fixture at a time.... I think for large households, more than one could be installed.....

This unit works great . We have 2-full baths, and even with guests it has kept up with demand. Easy to install and a grt. space saver in garage too. Had to rewire with 6-3 and a 60 amp. breaker. My neighbor saw mine and asked if i would install one in her home. So the second one is for her. My electric bill has dropped as well. We live in Florida.
