automatic 15 min. break time
took a little bit to get our chocolate lab to use it, she still wants our participation which is totally understandable. the only issue we have with it is we wish we could bypass the aurtomatic 15min shut down, getting our dog to take a rest is not an issue for us, but if we leave it on and she want's to fetch again we can not get it to work if its in the rest mode. I did not see instructions in the box when we got it so maybe there is a way to get it to work again when its in rest mode. Over engineered for the average dog
The build quality seems fairly good and the price was good. I am trying to get my dog used to it. She has quite a short attention span but is very energetic. The time out feature is something of a disaster as we are just starting to get interested when the machine stops for 15 minutes. The 15 minute play time is way too short and cannot be adjusted. The machine also makes strange noises from the speaker which she finds distracting and off putting. Maybe an older dog with a different personality would be better suited. It is going to take a long time for my dog to get to grips with this machine. If the play time could be extended we could get her used to it much more easily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Timer instead of sensor
The sensor really prevents my pet's enjoyment of this toy. I'm finding it difficult to train my pet when the toy is affected by me as I stand close to it. Not worth the money
Biggest issue was with the safety feature my dog would get to inpatient every time it was shut down when he moved and only 15 minutes operating at a time the reason you buy the machine is to give your hyper dog lots of exercise 15 minutes is not enough then the dog loses patience and starts knocking the machine over then it breaksVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

PetSafe ball launcher
Was originally impressed from the videos I saw on YouTube but after getting it unboxed and out in the yard the darn thing on the farthest setting would only throw 10 feet. Tried with different tennis balls same result. The best results I've had with it are using the blue racquetball explosive balls. They are a little smaller a lot lighter and they actually shoot the 30 feet as advertised by the machine manufacturer. Very Loud
I was so excited for this to arrive, but it's been a disappointment from opening the box. First of all, it doesn't launch the ball as far as it states. It's VERY LOUD, and slow! My dogs jumps around waiting for the ball, because it takes SO long for it to launch. Most of the time, my dog will take the ball out of the hole because she's tired of waiting. Fun to keep dog occupied.
This ball launcher makes it much easier for me while keeping my dog occupied. The only drawbacks are that it is slow and noisy. It takes standard sized tennis balls. My dog chewed one of the balls that came with launcher. The ball was ruined in a matter of minutes. I'd recommend KONG Balls which last much longer. Poor Quality!
Made with cheap plastic. Sounds and feels like it could break each time it throws the ball. Not worth what its priced. Doesn't throw the ball too far. Its very loud. My golden loves playing fetch but shes not thrilled with this. There is a mandatory 15-minute break time. So it goes for 15 minutes and then breaks for 15 minutes. My dog is a brat
My dog will play fetch nonstop. So we bought her this ball launcher so she could play fetch while we are at work. We also kind of hoped we would get a break from throwing the ball. This ball launcher works amazingly. You can adjust for indoor use. Its fantastic.
