Save time, money and trouble, buy the whole carb!
After many trips to the mower shop to buy parts and many evenings where I smelled of gasoline I gave up. Then I purchased this brand new carb for less money than a rebuild kit. Installation was easy and the mower started on the first gentle pull. I must point out that the float level on the new carb needed to be adjusted, this is important. If you have basic skills it is not difficult. There are many good videos available online if you need them. If you are shopping for a carburetor chances are that you already know how to install and adjust one. Therefore I will conclude by saying that it is indeed an exact replacement unit and it went on without drama... and it works!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Started on first pull
My original carb didn't have a top hose attachment, so I attached a 1/2" length of tubing and filled the tubing with silicone caulk. Original carb also did not have the red tube. The red tube was a bit long, so I cut a bit off the end. I think the tube is for priming with the bulb. After re-assembly I was expecting to have a bit of trouble for first starting attempt, but it started on the first pull and kept running great. Very pleased!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good replacement carb at a great price.
I've bought three of these so far and installed two thus far. It's WAY better (and often cheaper) to buy one of these than to attempt to rebuild the old carb. They look and fit just like the original carb! The first carb worked flawlessly, and I sold the mower soon after. The second carb's needle and seat seems to leak slightly as it sits. In 70 degree Ohio weather I SHOULD have to prime the engine to get it to start. The fact that I could pull the rope 1-4 times and it started without priming told me that the needle and seat was leaking. Not quite what I'm expecting from a new carb. Even so, I've had sufficient problems with the welch plug and O-rings on Tecumsehs before. This replacement carburetor solves all of those issues at a great price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bolted right on works great!
Title says it all. Lawnmower was having problems, running rough and having misfires. New carb completely fixed it, now starts ready runs smooth. I don't have any hard numbers to prove it but I seem to last longer per tank now too so I'm thinking fuel usage is more efficient as well. One more note, carb gasket is included, but if you decide to take off the fuel intake when replacing this, don't forget to also get the gasket for that as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great and affordable
Carb came in fast and was easy to install. I have a craftsman self propelled mower and the diapram went out and mower would only start with fuel or oil poured down the old carb. Easier than a rebuild kit!
I recently moved into a rental where I am responsible for mowing the lawn. I was given a Toro LEV120 lawnmower with the understanding that it did not run, but I am handy and could likely revive it. I cleaned out the carburetor, but it obviously needed to be rebuilt. I went online to order a rebuild kit, and discovered this carburetor, which cost only a little more than a rebuild kit. My Scotts lawnmower is 18 years old. It started running poorly, the carb is sealed and can't effectively be cleaned. I was amazed when I found this carb for less than $12 - INCLUDING SHIPPING!
