  • A lot of knife for the price

Perfect and minimal sized overall, but still has a rather large blade. Razor sharp out of the box and lightning fast to open. Everything is straight and centered with no wobble or " iffy " locking feelings. I would only use it for light cutting...tape, paper...and social work. The 4 strong points of this knife: 1) Size of knife blade compared to the over all knife size.( Large ) 2) Deep pocket carry due to a perfectly located and designed clip.( disappears into pocket ) 3) Handle structured fat at the top and tapered all the way to the rear (very comfortable and solid with no slippage. Knife can be used to fight closed with VERY high effectiveness. 4) Price...it's $20 what do you want? Drawbacks: Skinny spear point tip that might be easy to chip. Not a knife to stick hard into wood and pry the thing sideways. But it will cut you out of trouble. You will not feel unarmed with this blade. Best knife in this price range easy.( for me )

  • All business, this knife!

From the easy to grip nylon handle to the tip of it's 8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel Blade, this FATBACK model 1935 knife shouts "use me!" The easy to sharpen blade holds an edge very well and opens quickly and easily with the flipper. The black oxide finish on the metal parts gives a stealth appearance and rust/corrosion protection. All in all, this is a great EDC that will do everything you want and come back for more.

  • Super sharp flipper, low profile but good grip. Good looking EDC blade.

This is a well-made speed-assist blade that's proven to be sharper than expected. The pocket clip worried me for a bit, but it's well-thought out, particularly if you're wearing slacks rather than jeans or cargo pants and have to worry about clips wearing down that little seam where the knife hangs from. The blade and the handle mesh well together, coming together for a blade with decent heft for the narrow profile it springs from. Like all flipper knives, it's more likely that the mechanism will give out before the blade or the handle, but for the price, this is unmatched. The knife is very good at cutting and feels like it'll last. Definitely smaller than what I expected, but not so much that it's a disappointment.

  • Tactical Fatback Folding Knife

Awesome Knife! Use it on a daily basis cutting plastic bands, cardboard & numerous layers of shrink wrap. Easy open and close. Have dropped knife several times, blade & clip is as tight as I bought it. Light weight and durable. Blade holds a great edge. Recommend this knife to anyone who needs a sharp & dependable knife on a daily basis. Keep up the great work Kershaw!

  • A very nice handling knife with easy action

Very easy to open, looks and feels right. Comes out of the box very sharp. My only complaint, i wish the blade were an inch or two longer - other then that, perfect for opening boxes, cutting cords and tape, other things you use a knife for.

  • One of my favorite Kershaw’s

This knife is just designed ingeniously. It looks cool and has a good quick assisted opening movement. It sits in the hand well and keeps a decent edge ..nothing to resharpen it. Just all around good knife for the money. I will buy it with a better blade metal as well if it’s offered.

  • Fatback

It’s okay, but has non metallic handles. In my opinion the Leek or Dividend is much better. The Leek is slightly smaller with much better feel and quality. The Dividend is about the same size as the Fatback if the Leek is too small for you, it would be my second pick.

  • Mind-blowing

Absolutely amazing blade. Exceeds value on every level. I have used and seen much more expensive knives that can't even get close to this one. So sharp tip, very useful and multi practical. Blade has great length and it's very easy to sharpen with different tools. Kershaw assisted opening is awesome feature and on this knife it works flawlessly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Also seller was very very good! All props.

  • Great EDC knife

Great knife right out of the box. Opening mechanism is fast and easy to use. I like the deep carry clip and the blade is nice and sharp. The only thing I'd criticize is the thickness of the handle. It's definitely not slim. If the liners were inlaid it could easily be a bit thinner.

  • Very hard to beat with anything in this price catagory.

These are mid range knives, but very cost effective. They don't hold an edge as good as I would like, but if you tune it up once or twice a month; they are very usable. And afer carring it around for 2-3 years the clip screws started getting loose once a week. I have large hands, but the grip on the scales was very good. Always just fit my hand very well, and the scales are a little small for my size hands. Always felt I had a good purchase on the scales and could cut through almost anything!
