I really liked this CD. I had previously heard David Glen Eisley's Lost Tapes and I though it was OK. I bought this CD and was very impressed by it. Where his other album had very much an 80's metal strat guitar stlye, this has a slightly more deeper, softer tone. I loved the soft sweeping introduction which burst into the lively opener, 'Stranger From The Past'. The CD has several good guitar part and solo's, which is what I love. The album also includes a series of powerful ballards, such as 'Sing Brother' and 'Stranger In Love' being my favourite, with brilliantly moving vocals and solo it is a masterpiece. Although DGE is relaively unheard of by most he is a very talented musician with an amazing voice who performes most instruments on the album. If you haven't heard him you may just have heard him from the episode 'Band Geeks' from the kids TV show Spongebob Squarepants where he sings 'Sweet Victory'. I would recommend this to any one who likes classic rock and soft rock. It has that 80's edge to it but was really impressed with the material on it. AlexRead full review
