* * * * * You may not agree with what Friedrich Nietzsche believes, but his works are still worth reading. They induce great thought and existential thinking. Many of his views I disagree with, however I love reading his thoughts. Really makes you think. Thus Spoke Zarathustra is written in a fictional, story-type setting. The character Zarathustra makes speeches on philosophic topics. Walter Kaufmann translates Nietzsche's original German into English. Other works from Nietzsche (Kaufmann, and others, have translated as well) include: - Human, All Too Human - Daybreak - The Gay Science - Beyond Good and Evil - On the Genealogy of Morals - The Case of Wagner - The Twilight of the Idols - The Antichrist - Ecce Homo ============================ Here is my favorite quote from the book: "I love the great despisers, because they are the great adorers, and arrows of longing for the other shore.
