This freshman collection of songs comes from the band that guitar virtuoso Jake E. Lee formed after parting ways with Ozzy Osbourne. It's a sprawling, hard-rock album with stellar playing from every musician--including Ray GIllen, who seems incapable of hitting a wrong note. As seems to happen when Jake E. Lee is involved in project, however, "artistic differences" and plain old in-fighting prompted original drummer Eric Singer to bolt after the first album, and the whole band to fall apart after finishing one more polished album (Voodoo Highway) and, released only recently, the rough cut of another, much bluesier LP.
In other words, buy the album.
