Call it progressive... or emo (ugh)... whatever, it's impressive. You have no need to know, or even be aware of, the storyline behind it. There are some references to torn torso's (Three Evils), epic battles (IKSSE:3) and a maniac pilot (Al the Killer), though. IKSSE:3 is a beautiful song with an amazing solo in it. Blood Red Summer and A Favor House Atlantic are more upbeat and pop-ish (why some call it emo). The Light & The Glass is a great, almost acoustic track. If someone is looking to expand their repitoire of music, I would highly suggest trying this one out. If you already have any of their other releases, by all means, you must buy this disc.
None of the tracks on this album fall flat. It is simply flawless. The production values are off the charts, mixing is excellent, and the band treads the line between sanity and madness perfectly, making for a dark and almost chilling entry in the Amory Wars. Overtly happy and peppy tracks juxtapose perfectly with the more moody Camper Velourium tracks. The bonus track, 21:13 is a nine minute epic which closes out the album perfectly, while summarizing the saga so far. Excellent work, Coheed. Keep it up!
One of the best albums ever made and a pivotal part of the Coheed saga, a must own for the story of Coheed and Cambria.

I bought In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 recently, and as soon as i saw it was disappointed that it had no front cover. i think that the item description was off simply because "like new" was not it. Cd works fine but has multiple scratches, and the whole no cover thing just turns me off of it because i expected one. I really like the music though.
This is an excellent CD by Coheed and Cambria. It includes some of their most popular singles like Blood Red Summer, The Camper Velourium I: Faint of Hearts and A Favor House Atlantic. This CD really captures classic Coheed sound.
