Important music
A wide selection of Afro-Cuban music (4xCDs and booklet) beginning in the 1940s by Machito who is just as important as Armstrong, Miles or Coltrane. Big support by a cast of major talents of other important artists such as Mario Bauza, Chano Pozo, Rene Hernandez to name a few and then there is the group breaking recording with innovator Charlie Parker re 'The Afro-Cuban Jazz Suite.' Recordings could be at times better but for the price great a collection nevertheless.
