This is really an unbelievable album. With every CD they had, Creed just got better and better. This album is really a mixed bag, but everything in the bag tastes GREAT! WEATHERED opens up very hard, with some metal tracks. All sound great and will get you pumped for the rest of the CD. I must say that in the first two songs, Tremonti's bass skills reall shine. As you get to about the fifth track and move along you are in for some radio friendly tunes, but Creed doesn't lose it's hard edge. "One Last Breath" is a perfect example of this. It was a huge hit and at the same time something that would normally only be played on hard rock stations. At track eight you are in for a unique song, "Weathered". One of the harder tracks of the album, it has a creepy feel throughout, which isn't a bad thing. This is a slow starting, but powerful song that really makes you think. Ending the album are two slower songs, the last of which can't even be considered rock. Overall, this was their best CD, with some of my personal favorite songs. It has a very hard edge to it which I love. But be prepared for some softer tracks. If you want all hard, dark songs, check out their album, HUMAN CLAY. The great song writing and guitar rifts, make this CD a must buy! This album was a real step foward for this band (as if they weren't great enough). With their previous albums Creed always seemed glued to a set style, a melo hard rock band, and for the most part it didn't go anywhere else. In WEATHERED, they have a few songs that fit their style, which was great. But, they also had songs at the other end of the spectrum, with metal and even lulabys. And they showed not only that they could do all forms of rock, but they could do a GOOD job.Read full review
This is a fine example of angry, garage band rock and roll. It is well produced and recorded. I was not familiar with Creed until I heard this album. I really enjoyed it.

...was just as good as the ones before it. A good way for this group to close, and morph into Alter Bridge. Not a bad song on this cd, and it has some cool liner notes too. Although I am partial to 'Who's Got My Back Now'. I daresay that's my favorite song from Creed. If you have My Own Prison and Human Clay, you MUST get this to complete the trilogy. Long live Creed R.I.P. -jakk
Music I am replacing because it was stolen
