WOW....season 2 is just as good or better than season one. Every episode has it's own cliffhanger and there are so many plot twists this season that you are never at a loss for thrills. The set is presented in anamorphic widescreen (1.78) and is an improvement over the 4:3 TV ratio. The soundtrack is done up nicely in Dolby Digital 5.1. My sub rocks out on the action scenes. Set also has English and Spanish subtitles. There are Extras galore on this set. The making of "The Telling": This 45 minute documentary tells how the season finale episode was shot. Goes into detail about the lcoations, sets, design etc. One of the best documentaries I have seen on a TV show set. You also get deleted scenes, bloopers, interviews, TV spots and commentaries on 4 episodes. I had never watched Alias before, so this set was a treat for me...HOWEVER, my only gripe with the set is that on Disc One (YES..Disc One), there is a preview for Season Three. I watched this preview, before I had watched the set and the whole plot line was ruined for me. If you don't like spoilers, DON'T watch the preview. Overall a fantastic set, and a MUST-Have for the Alias fan.Read full review
Not being a frequent TV viewer, I hadn't heard of this show until now, ten years after it went off the air. After seeing some great comments (and no bad ones) by past viewers, I decided to take a chance. After viewing the first season, I was so impressed, I purchased the rest. Although the show itself rates FIVE stars, it's possible that Season 2 has a faulty disc. Admittedly my purchases were of used products, but when one disc totally failed, I purchased a different Season 2 DVD. On the second one (from a totally different seller) the faulty disc did play, but only 3 of the 4 shows on the disc. Coincidence? I wasn't going to try to buy a third set.

I absolutely love Alias. I like it so much better than 24 because it has depth, personality and emotion. She cries, bleeds, sweats, groans, makes mistakes and all the action she makes it look real. Not to mention she has cool gadgets and Marshall, who is hilarious. Second season really delves into Sydney and her family and how twisted it is and the suspense and emotion and action just gets better every minute. Every actor is so into their character...wow it is just awesome. J.J. Abrams makes the best television, just look at Lost. If it has J.J. Abrams name on it you can be sure you're in for a fantastic ride through reality...his shows always make think and rethink. This is a must for every collection.
Super spy stories... that's Alias. But more than that, are the characters. Sydney Bristow and Michael Vaugn, as well as Will Tippon and Jack Bristow, not to mention and Dixon and Marshall (and Sloan?!) are all excellent characters and J.J. Abrams and crew created them in such a way that the audience can't help but be interested in their lives. The series began great. Unfortunately, seasons 3-5 were a little lacking. They got away from the Rambaldi story lines for a bit and the Covenant story lines didn't work as well. I'd say this is one of my top three favorite shows of all time.
Its so easy to get involved in and it keeps your attention at all times. The characters are so different but at the same time makes you feel there connection. I loved it especially because there is so much trashy stuff playing on tv now a days and this is just not filled with the stuff you cringe and turn your eyes away from. It has a high rating for me, so watchable. The Action gets a bit involved but its fun.
