It is good but leaves us wanting more information on the 20th century...
Chicago is a very good documentary. The city's history as an American city of the Mid-West itself is a wild story! The American Experience shows are very thorough for the beginnings of the city to around 1900. My feeling is that the story beyond 1900 needs further telling. But over all it was worth the money!

Chicago: City of the Century. I did not see this DVD but the book was excellent. This book was like an encyclopedia of the city of Chicago. Anything you would want to know was in this book. Believe me, this book is a wealth of knowledge. You should really read this book.
