This season was a major smack in the face to children who were attached to the Transformers cartoon. It abruptly jumps in time to coincide with the 1985 movie and doesn't explain the disappearance of certain characters. Where did Warpath and Powerglide go? Hound? lets face it, the whole cartoon was a commercial for the new toy line. The animation was inconsistent and sloppy for the most part and the only positive thing I can say about this season is, The Return of Optimus Prime, which happens in the second DVD set, Part 2. If you are a completest like me, you have to get this season, but don't spend a lot of money.
Great set for G1 fans
