    Don't miss this

    This is the best character study you will see. Also a good chance to see Mr. Carson of Downton Abbey in his earlier days. Also the cook from Nanny McFee. Engaging story line with good ending. Not to mention one of Michael Gambone in excellent role. Reminiscent of the cook, the thief and her lover. You can't beat the period music.

The story goes from the imaginings of a writer to the composition of his novel to the writer's past and present, all interwoven with excellent selections of thirties music.
