About this product

Product Information

Hamtaro, the loveable hamster who has already charmed Japan and become one of its most popular cartoon characters, once again embarks on some outrageous adventures with his hamster friends in these episodes. Here, the Ham-Hams turn heroic when Laura's fun day at the beach leads to her getting trapped in a cave with her friend Kana. Hamtaro, of course, takes it upon himself to recruit the Ham-Hams for a search and rescue mission like none before. Contains three episodes.

Watching this DVD of this show takes me back to being 12/13 years old, when it was on TV. It’s a shame that the entire series was not released on DVD, and in U.S. English. At least not that I’m aware of. Veronica Stori, (Kagome),in,inuyasha,, very good at playing Hamtaro’s owner, Laura. Just another forgotten classic anime children’s show of the past. If a dubbing company, like Funimation, could purchase the rights to the show and re-release the entire show on Blu-Ray, that would be great as well. So many good anime shows for children, came out in the 1990s and 2000s, I’m now 30 years old, and those were good times. I miss those years. If any new young child fan of anime wants to get a sense of what great children’s anime came out in the 1990s and 200s, “Hamtaro” is a good place to start, and workthier way backwards.
