    Many elements to enjoy over and over.

    This was just as I wanted. I had seen a couple of episodes when it aired on TV and wanted to see all of them. This set is great and Fry and Laurie are great in it. Not only have I viewed all discs but have seen some of them over and over. I intend to keep watching them for a long time. I love seeing the lifestyles that were in the past and they are able to utilize the dress, homes, cars and attitudes of the period. I am really enjoying them.

    Jeeves & Wooster is absolutely wonderful! The casting, the costumes, the hair styles, the antique cars, the music, the Art Deco: all brilliantly choreographed to bring you into the 1920's. P.G. Wodehouse' writing is so engaging you feel as if you are there with the cast. And no one could have played Jeeves and Wooster better than Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. Every episode is full of humor and intrigue as Bertie Wooster gets himself into impossible situations while his personal valet or "gentleman's gentleman" Jeeves comes to his aid. You are guaranteed hours of solid entertainment for the entire family.

    P.G. Wodehouse can't be beat!

    If you are into subtle British tongue-in-cheek humor, this is top-shelf stuff. The original series ran from 1990 through 1993, so the complete collection includes all four seasons of the series. Wodehouse was particularly good at skewering the upper-class rich, but idle, Brits of the era. I have throughly enjoyed this series, just as I did when it was first presented on A&E. The collection may be out of print now, but there are several copies available on the used market. Well written, well acted, delightful scenery, period costumes, and superb music. Enjoy!!

    Love this series

    If you're a fan of P.G. Wodehouse, you will not be disappointed with this television series. The stories are taken directly from many of the short stories and novels. The characters of Bertie Wooster and Jeeves are simply perfect. I can't imagine anyone other than Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry in the roles. Their comedic timing is excellent. We have already watched the complete series and have started over from the beginning. This is a show to be enjoyed again and again.

    Top Notch British Humor

    I watched these episodes years ago on a borrowed set of DVDs and really enjoyed them. But especially with the British accents, the dialogue moved far too quickly for me to catch every word of Wodehouse's delicious writing. Now I can go back at leisure and enjoy these shows whenever I like. Highly recommended if you like this kind of humor!
