I bought the 1 mile Walk Away the Pounds video but found that it wasn't challenging enough so I bought the 1-2 mile dvd. I have been working out with the 2 mile section of this dvd for about a month or more and really love it. I am amazed because I would probably have been voted the girl most likely to cut gym class in highschool. I hate exercising with a passion but find that the in house walking doesn't feel like exercising at all (of course, your heartrate goes up, you sweat, and you lose weight, but it is not tedious, irritating and doesn't feel like a punishment like most exercise tapes). I have been enjoying it so much that I just purchased the 3 mile walk (and I assure you that if someone had told me one month ago that I would actually want to walk 3 miles I would have laughed quite heartily). I enjoy Leslie Sansone's upbeat attitude, the comraderie of the walkers, and find that the time goes by relatively quickly and painlessly. I like this DVD because it is an exercise demonstration (not for entertainment) that you can follow at home and I don’t have to go to a gym. Leslie Sansone and her class demonstrate the moves. It is good for my level of ability. I am 79 and have done this one (there are so many different ones) for years plus a few others. It has helped me to stay pretty mobile over the years. Also I use 3lb weights for part of it. I also like the camaraderie between the people in the group.

I love my Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds DVD. It is challenging yet fun. Leslie talks you through the miles with encouraging words and helpful instructions. The moves are very easy to master and the music is very upbeat. On this DVD there are two workouts, a 1-mile and a 2-mile walk. You can do it right in your living room so you can exercise in any weather or climate. This DVD has changed the way I exercise and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a good workout.
This is the best workout tape from Leslie Sansone. I had a lot of injuries that didn't permit me to work out. Once healed I was always able to ease in with this kind of low impact workout. You walk in place, side to side, forwards and backwards. Unlike other workout tapes this is truly for beginners, or someone who wants to get moving again. The DVD came fast, and works fantastic. I also love the fact you get two workouts on one disc.

I've had this "High Calorie Burn" workout on VHS for years and was hoping to find it as a DVD. Sometimes I only want a 30 minute workout, so the 2-mile is perfect. Plus, during one segment, there's an option to use weights which I really like! She also has one of the participants do a low-impact version of the exercises for beginners to follow. The "Get Up and Go" is a one mile which is good for when I'm REALLY tight for time!
