Set during WWII, SUBMARINE ATTACK follows an Italian submarine that destroys an Allied ship, but picks up the survivors of the wreckage. Renato Baldini stars as the benevolent captain of the Axis U-Boat, whose new passengers are alternately hostile, scared, and grateful. However, when the sub runs into trouble, the crew and its prisoners form a strange bond because of the mutual fear running through the boat, culminating in a romance between a crewman and a prisoner.
