The switch itself looks identical and appears to be good quality. I have used it for about 20 loads of laundry with no issues. However, this switch has a different connector than the one in my washing machine (I have a Kenmore Series 80 Washing Machine). My washing machine connector had a blade terminals inside and this one had round connectors. I would have returned it but it was just easier to modify and move on. Basically, I had to cut off and reuse the connector from my existing washing machine switch (using waterproof crimp connectors) to this new switch. Also, the length of the wires in this switch assembly are shorter that the one on the washing machine, but still long enough by re-routing the wires along a different path and using cable ties to secure it from dangling and potentially causing issues. I maintain an apartment complex that has dozens of machines that require this lid switch. Local cost is around 50$ each for a switch. Ebay's price is unbelievable at less that 10$.
