Laughter Through Tears
Also one of my favorite emotions..This is by far the best film ever made...filled with a bevy of A list stars Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah, Olympia Dukakis and Julia Roberts and that's only a partial list..This movie has it all belly aching laughs, tear filled moments and best of all this is a movie that will get you thinking..This movie starts out with everyones favorite Celebration a Wedding..yes MLynn is about to marry off her Daughter Shelby to a rich handsome Louisanna Attorney Jackson..she has her reservations, but what Mother doesn't? But, this Mom has a special reason..meanwhile her Friends are scurrying to get ready for the big moment...including gossipy Truvy (Dolly Parton)cranky Weezer (Shirley MacLaine) and sweet and feisty Claree (Olympia Dukakis) in walks a newcomer Daryl Hannah playing a vagabond hairdresser Annelle with nowhere to go..Truvy gives her a job which proves to be the best thing for them all..This film is all about love, Friendship and good old fashion down home humour..I highly reccommend this one for any and all movie buffs, but be sure to have your hanky ready!Read full review

Good but
This is my favorite movie of all time however I was expecting the vhs that was released in 2000 however it’s the one released in 1990 so I you don’t get the bonus content. Which is why I bought the vhs is the first place. Still the greatest movie ever you’ll love it

Tear Jerker
This is a very touching story about the lives of a group of friends (all women)and the struggles in there lives from being all alone to an abusive husband to career pregnancy and even death... This movie is a big tear jerker all the way through - sally field, Dolly pardon, Julia Roberts, Darrell Hanna, and olimpia Dukakas are all amazing -- There is alos one more incredibly talented actress in this movie but here name slips my mind... anyhow the point is buy it, watch it, Cry like a little girl with a skinned knee -- Then repeat... You'll be glad you did!!!!

Steel Magnolias
This is such a popular movie. I had seen this before but wanted to see again. It places very sad but loved the story of the relationship of these women and their interactions with each other.
