In Japones, the only females are emotionless androids called marionettes. One day, a young boy named Otaru accidentally awakens a marionette named Lime that seems to have emotions. Complicating matters, a cadre of combat marionettes arrive in Japones and cause some serious commotion. Fortunately, Otaru finds two more sentient marionettes and awakens them so that he can figure out what is happening. Unfortunately, Otaru has never dealt with real women before, so he has no idea what he is in for after he has awakened not just one, but three of them.
