ALLY McBEAL creator David E. Kelley wrote and produced this smalltown horror comedy with equal parts laughs and gore. When scientists studying beavers in a Maine lake are killed by something mysterious in the water, an investigation reveals a very large crocodile with an insatiable appetite. The cast of characters sent in to try to catch the murderous beast includes a game warden (Bill Pullman), a scientist (Bridget Fonda), and a professor with a fondness for the scaly beasts (Oliver Platt). Betty White is an elderly local woman who has a knack for disarming everyone with her saucy language.

A Fun Laugh And Scream Fest
Both the cover and tape aren't banged up. They're in good care. Also, the film doesn't rely on death scenes, gore and women's breasts being shown non-stop. This film has scares, tension, character development and Betty White playing an antagonistic force to be reckoned with. This film was scored, photographed and directed by the same composer, DOP and director who did Halloween H20, for Pete's sake. Not to mention, The Practice and Boston Legal fans, get ready to discover a likely new classic once you discover and re-discover David E. Kelly was the one who wrote the film.
