This is an essential chronicle of the seminal 90's Brit Pop band Oasis. Filmed before massive crowds in their hometown Manchester and London the band tears through a dream set culled from their first two acclaimed cd's, Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? Liam is at his swaggering best in classics such as "Cigarettes and Alcohol" and "Roll With It". Noel delivers a beautiful acoustic set which includes "The Masterplan" and "Wonderwall". But the most poignant moment comes during a triumphant version of "Live Forever" during which pictures of passed rock legends appear on the big screen. Liam takes the moment to bow before John Lennon. This is a wonderful dvd which captures a moment in time when the Gallagher brothers were at their finest, both raw and polished. As Pete Doherty has said, "Noel is the poet and Liam is the town cryer and that's a perfect combination".Read full review
Great show and sound, but I would prefer having the interviews separate from the songs. This has several clips between songs which just breaks up the show unnecessarily.

I love Oasis. They are the greatest band besides the Beatles. I bought because I have yet to see them live and I wish I could have been at these incredible shows.
