A good plot used again in the movie Constantine
Before movies like Constantine there was the movie, Prophecy, and if you re watch Prophecy as I recently did, then you realize the plot of Prophecy was redone by the movie Constantine. The plot is that the Angel Gabriel, cut off from God wants to destroy man using the evil soul of a dead man and wipe out mankind. Gabriel is shown as God's unquestioning Messenger and in the process, has become completely dehumanized to the human condition. Ironically, the one fallen Angel who does understand man is the Devil himself and he teams up with 2 unlikely human heroes who try to stop the Angel Gabriel's plans. The humans are no fools and realize the Devil is just as dangerous if not more dangerous than Gabriel in that whereas the Angel Gabriel is a zealot, the Devil is a tempter and destroyer. Although none of these ideas are biblical, they are entertaining so on an entertaining value, I would rate Prophecy a r out of 5 for an enjoyable movie to watch and though not educational it makes for fun viewing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
