Chevy Chase was best known for his one year stint on the first year of "Saturday Night Live" before going on to play various numbskull roles in lightweight comedies. This is a rare turn at a dramatic role, and although Chase is not a great dramatic actor, this is still a very entertaining film. The fun, sometimes whimsical special effects alone are worth the price of the movie.

Chevy Chase, Daryl Hannah and Sam Neill star in John Carpenter's 1992 sci-fi film based on the book. A businessman finds romance with a producer and becomes invisible after a lab accident. I've always liked this film, it's a good love story and Chevy and Daryl have great chemistry. Sam is also a good villain and I notice this is the only one of John's films where his name isn't above or before the title. This dvd has good picture and sound plus outtakes, an effects featurette and a hidden feature. I recommend this good flick.
this is one of chevy chase's really forgotten films the special effects in this are terrific & the story line is great as well...….surprising that john carpenter directed it all in all this film should not passed up!!

This is a wonderful movie. If you love Chevy Chasae then you will love this movie. It is different. It isn't the normal humor that most are used to, but his dry humor still shines through at parts. The classic story takes on a new twist and the supporting actors add to this thriller.
