The music is a snapshot of a particular time in the musical macrocosm. The indie music of Britain had evolved å the influences were wide. In this case, Krautrock -- always my heart song genus. Peng has that quality of " the seed of things to come" in Stereolab's oeuvre. Certainly a mix of cultures within the band itself -- Brit, French & Kiwi --- gotta be good ! Stereolab went on to become "Mighty". Great to hear this again.
