Let's say for this review that Judy Garland fans fall into three catagories: those who like anything and everything she is associated with, those who prefer mostly her early work, and those who can't get enough of her later image and performing. OK, I am a huge fan and like it all...or maybe I have a problem. That problem is with the choices for recordings in her later career. This disk starts with Over The Rainbow. From the movie. How can you lose? Here's how; Put that classic first, followed by Easter Parade, then throw in some other good stuff interspersed with inconsistent, up and down versions of familiar and filler. Some are good..some are not so good. I will listen to it. But I can't help but cringe once in a while.
