Definitely a Whitesnake classic with a new release from Geffen Goldline.
Perhaps one of. the best CDs by Whitesnake. Virtually every track on this CD is now regarded as a classic Whitesnake song. This particular release is the Geffen Goldline release, and thus it has a slightly different track list from the original release. Some of the songs are from the eponymously titled album released in 1987. The rest are from the original release of Slip of the Tongue. Both releases hold endearing memories from my last year of graduate study at Yale in the late 1980's I listened to these releases over and over while I studied mathematics, and the songs provided me with much inspiration. Granted the topics of the songs are distant from abstract mathematics, yet the melodies still reverberate today whenever I listen to these songs. I am still a solitary researcher in mathematics who listens to music in the background while I conduct research. Slip off the Tongue is my favorite Whitesnake.release of all time. And I continue to listen to it to this day. Whitesnake rules!!!!!
