I have been truly enjoying W.A.S.P./Blackie Lawless's music since 1986 and can say that their early albums are some of the best and are now classic in the heavy metal genre. My favorite W.A.S.P. album is "Inside the Electric Circus", but I have to admit that "The Last Command" is the album with which they achieved their highest sales ever and also the one that reached the highest in Billboard. This shouldn't be a surprise when you consider the fact that from it came such classics as "Wild Child" (my personal favorite from the album) and "Blind in Texas". "Fistful of Diamonds", "Jack Action" and "Widowmaker" only contribute to the excellence of the album. In "Cries in the Night" you can glimpse for the first time into the dark side of Blackie's heart. This black side would later materialize in whole albums like "Still Not Black Enough" and "The Crimson Idol". I bought the CD because this is a remastered version that includes songs previously released only on singles' B-sides. For example, I am ashamed to admit that I heard "Savage" for the first time from this CD. All in all, I highly recommend this CD to any heavy metal listener, especially devoted W.A.S.P. fans. Enjoy and "NEVER DRIVE DRUNK OR BLIND ... in Texas or anywhere else ..."!Read full review
