One of the real GREATS of the guitar!
Rick Vito is undeniably one of the most underrated guitarist in rock and blues. His work with Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger, and Fleetwood Mac is some of the most tasteful and inventive slide guitar ever waxed. This is his debut solo CD after his departure from the Mac and features a fantastic duet with Stevie Nicks, "Desiree." Nicks also appears on "Intuition," one of the CD's highlight tunes. Vito's vocals are equally smooth and emotive and the songs range from the gritty blues of "Walk Another Mile," and "Never Leave This Love Alive," to the soulful "I Still Have My Guitar," and the cool guitar instrumental, "Walking With The Deco Man." This album comes highly recommended to fans of the bluesier side of Fleetwood Mac, expert slide guitar, and solid roots-style rock and roll.
